"Looking for childcare for a newborn during a pandemic wasn't easy. We wanted to find a place where we felt completely comfortable leaving our daughter; where she would not only be well cared for, but well loved.
we interviewed with many providers, both in-home and bigger facilities. nothing (and no one) felt right to us - until we met Vilma. when we first entered her house, we immediately felt at home. Her childcare set up is a dream - filled with books and toys and colors and pictures, all well loved and extremely well organized. We could tell that Vilma was an expert at teaching and communicating with children, and that she taught, communicated, and cared for each child with absolutely individual attention.
Her kindness, warmth, generosity, and the diligent care she gives our daughter daily are beyond comparison. Vilma is extremely communicative and responsive. She sends pictures and updates throughout the day - and they are, without a doubt, the highlight of my day. Nothing gets by Vilma - she notices every new tooth, new skill, new like, new dislike, and even new favorite food.
As someone who had severe postpartum anxiety, I expected to never feel comfortable leaving my child with anyone. But I have never felt any anxiety around my child while she is in Vilma's care. I know she is safe. I know she is having so much fun. I know she is learning. And I know she is loved.
